Emerald Health announces the
new release of Dynaboard Hospital Intelligence Tool
Ottawa, Ontario, (August 20th,
2007) –Emerald Health Information Systems, an emerging

announced the new release of its DynaboardTM
Hospital Intelligence Tool. In addition to expanding
the library of healthcare-centric indicators, the new
release includes enhanced graphic capabilities, summary
reports, ad-hoc reports and collaborative features through
the embedded OLAP tool.
DynaboardTM Hospital Intelligence Tool
is an advanced integrated performance management application

Hotel Dieu Shaver goes-live with
Emerald's Dynamine Workload Decision Support
Software

2007) –Emerald Health Information Systems announced today
that the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre
has successfully implemented Dynamine Workload Decision Support Software in both allied
health and nursing disciplines.
The Hotel Dieu Shaver, a 137 bed facility located in
St. Catharines -
Ontario, provides complex
continuing care to patients in
St. Catharines and
rehabilitation services to patients from across the Niagara
Region. A team
of health care professionals including physicians, nurses,
recreational, occupational and physiotherapists work
together to enhance the quality of life and promote
independence of the patients.
Hotel Dieu Shaver also provides outpatient
rehabilitation services including Audiology and Speech
Pathology.

Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital goes-live
with Dynamine in a record time
Ottawa, Ontario, (February 5th, 2007) – Concluding a 15-week
effort to deploy
Dynamine
web-based workload software, Emerald Health Information
Systems announced today that the system is now fully
operational.
Soldiers' Memorial Hospital has one of the highest volumes
of admissions in Canada for hospitals under 200 beds. Its
outpatient and emergency care visits exceed 75,000 per year
with about 45,000 of those being emergency care visits. The
facility provides a comprehensive range of surgical services
and has over 25 outpatient clinics, ranging from Genetic
Services to Disability Assessment Centre.

North York General Hospital
Selects Emerald Health Information systems’ Workload
Decision Support solution
Ottawa, Ontario - North York General Hospital – (Toronto,
Ontario), a multi-site community teaching hospital, has
selected Emerald Health Information Systems’
Dynamine
software solution to meet its requirements for enhanced
workload measurement data collection and strong managerial
decision support.
Dynamine will be utilized by all inpatient
and outpatient areas and will be interfaced with the Cerner
Hospital Information System (HIS) and the Kronos Scheduling
software. In recognition of the strength that Emerald offers
through its
Dynaworks
workload methodology expertise, the hospital has also
contracted Emerald for a review of its workload standards.
North York General Hospital conducted a full RFP to select a
replacement for their outdated and soon to be unsupported
legacy system. The Emerald solution was reviewed by
front-line users, managers, IT staff and decision support
personnel. It was chosen over competitor solutions for
several key reasons. Susan Kwolek, Vice- President, Quality
and Corporate Performance, explains that the Emerald
solution provides: “Timely, accurate reports that better
capture the utilization of the hospital’s resources,
enabling us to make workload decisions such as staffing
requirements when patients are waiting for beds.” Christine
